S.S.U. 625 French Ambulance Corps

James Stewart Huston, son of C. L. Huston, Vice President of Lukens Steel Company, served as an ambulance driver for the French army.  He received France’s Croix de Guerre (Cross of War) for duty under fire at the Battle of Soissons in July 1918.
