USS Michigan (SSBN-727/SSGN-727)
The second Ohio-class nuclear-powered guided missile submarine in the United States Navy, she is the third ship to bear the name of the state of Michigan. Throughout her career, the Michigan completed more than thirty Strategic Deterrent Patrols. In 2004, she was modified to carry more than 150 cruise missiles, instead of just 24 Trident missiles. The Michigan is still in operation today, with a 150-person crew.
