Industrialization Causes Change
Great industrialization changed the relationship between employees and business owners, who rarely had personal contact with their workers. Owners of large plants became concerned with making as much profit as possible, which meant low pay for their workers. Employees worked hard to make dollars, while business owners made millions - as shown by the cartoon above.
