Coatesville Remembers 16th Anniversary World Trade Center Commemoration

They should never be forgotten.  The thousands of victims of the 9/11/2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center twin towers will be remembered at the National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum’s “Coatesville Remembers September 11th” Commemorative Service, Monday, September 11.  The service will take place at the site of the Steelworkers’ Memorial, which is marked by one of the ten 50-ton World Trade Center steel tridents recovered by the museum in 2010.

8:30am to 10:30am, NISHM’s program will include marking time of events that morning, words from local dignitaries, and music from members of the Lukens Band.

10:30am to 4:00pm, free admission to indoor exhibits and videos.  

7:00pm, the Lukens Concert Band and 49ers Chorus will present an open-air Remembrance Concert.
