Armistice Signed

Celebration occurred throughout the world when an armistice was signed on November 11, 1918.  In the U.S., towns and cities held parades.  According to the Daily Local newspaper, “Long Jollification” occurred in Coatesville on that day, with a nationalistic parade filled with music, confetti, costumes, decorated cars, and patriotic citizens.
