Black History Month Lecture:
Chris Densmore
Christopher Densmore, Curator at the Friends Quaker Library at Swarthmore College
will present “The Underground Railroad in Chester County.” NISHM welcomes Mr. Densmore in celebration of Black History Month!

Mr. Densmore has written extensively about the Quaker community in Chester County and their relationship to abolitionism, including many journal articles, reviews, and book chapters, including authoring the book Red Jacket: Iroquois Diplomat and Orator.

Doors will open at 5:30pm, lecture begins at 6pm. The lecture will be held in the Lukens Executive Office Building, located at:
