The heart of the Tenant Hose restoration was in the kitchen. The original floor beams were exposed after the removal of decayed old flooring revealing a dirt base. A concrete rat slab was laid under the floor beams to help preserve the structure. Plaster, sanding and finishing served to preserve and brighten the Tenant House.
